Name: Dr. Sabrina Thompson
Age: 28
Description of Character: Though Sabrina may be the blonde-haired, brown eyed bombshell that many people would take for being 'stupid', she is the last thing from that. A very accomplished doctor, who is very dedicated to what she does, Sabrina doesn't care much for the automatic assumption that since she's blonde, she's not very smart. She strives to work hard and prove that stereotype wrong. Most often, she is found in the ER, helping those who need the most urgent care.
She is also very compassionate, caring for her patients the best way that she can. She often talks to them, and makes jokes, so that they feel more comfortable around her. The flaw in this? From time to time, there are patients that she gets too emotionally attached to. If they pass away, she gets to be an emotional wreck, blaming herself, even if it was not her fault. Though she always gets over this within a couple of weeks, it has a tendency to repeat itself.
Personality: Though usually pretty shy around people in general, Sabrina really comes to life at work. If there's a patient in critical condition in the ER, you can bet that she'll be there - in the middle of all the action, calling out vital signs, and ordering CTs and various tests. Also, with patients, she tries to hide her shyness, so that they can see the picture of a confident, outgoing doctor, and therefore maybe feel a bit better about their situations. Along with the shyness, is the tiny bit of self-doubt. Every doctor has a moment where they might doubt an action, but Sabrina has these moments somewhat frequently, though usually, her gut decision is the correct one.
Sabrina really enjoys her job - she loves helping people - and loves to get her hands dirty. She doesn't care if there's a lot of blood - she got over being squeamish at age three.
Her social life is okay, considering most of her free time is spent filling out charts and doing paperwork for her job. She has a close group of friends - some fellow doctors - and they hang out from time to time. Sabrina really appreciates her friends, and keeps them close.

Celebrity: Sarah Chalke
Background With her father being the chief of medicine at a large, upscale Chicago hospital, and her mother being a well-respected doctor, Sabrina basically grew up around medicine. She had always wanted to be a doctor from the moment she touched that plastic, play, stethoscope. With her parents' best wishes, she applied to Harvard Medical School - and got in! The next four years she studied hard, and worked even harder, and managed to graduate at the top of her class. She spent her intern years under her father's watchful eye at his hospital - which got annoying at moments.
When she was finally done with her internship, she applied for a job at many of the good national hospitals. All were willing to accept her with open arms, but she headed to Halton instead. It was a great hospital - with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, and Sabrina loved it right away. She's nearing her third year at the hospital, and she's not planning on leaving anytime soon.
